Robert Noble RSA

Robert Noble 1857 – 1917

Robert Noble came from Edinburgh where he trained at the RSA schools. After a spell in Paris, he settled in East Lothian and painted aspects of rural life there and in Berwickshire. He was elected to the RSA in 1903 following in the footsteps of his older cousin James Campbell Noble 1846 – 1913. Robert was a member of the Edinburgh Art Club.
